TTC Bus Collides with Vehicle in Scarborough; Three Hospitalized

Scarborough, Toronto - On Christmas Eve, a collision between a TTC bus and another vehicle resulted in three people being transported to the hospital. The incident occurred on Sheppard Avenue East, beginning near Meadowvale Road and ending about seven kilometers away at Havenview Road.
According to witnesses, the driver of a sedan, a 58-year-old individual, appears to have suffered a medical episode, which led to the collision. The sedan collided with two other vehicles before crashing head-on into the TTC bus. The impact caused significant damage to all vehicles involved.
Emergency services were called to the scene, and the injured parties were quickly transported to the hospital. The driver of the sedan, who sustained serious, life-threatening injuries, was taken to a trauma center. Two individuals from the other vehicles were also hospitalized with minor injuries.
